EMSCULPT®: Tone and Contour Your Body Without Surgery

Has sheltering in place caused you to lose some of your muscle tone and gain curves in the wrong places? If you’re hoping to improve the contours of your body, safe, effective, and pain-free EMSCULPT® could be the solution you need.

Dr. Yakov Levy and his team of cosmetic specialists understand the frustration that comes when traditional exercise and dieting don’t give you the toned results you desire. That’s why at Yakov Levy MD PC, with offices in Midtown East, Manhattan, and Forest Hills, Queens, we offer revolutionary EMSCULPT treatments as part of our line of body contouring services.

What is body contouring and sculpting with EMSCULPT?

Your muscles play an important role in defining the shape of your body. EMSCUPLT is a noninvasive, nonsurgical treatment method that has been clinically tested and FDA cleared for increasing muscle mass.

EMSCULPT uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic technology to cause deep muscle contractions you just can’t achieve through traditional exercises. For example, a 30-minute EMSCUPLT session can provide the equivalent effort of 20,000 situps!

The technology used by EMSCULPT causes tears in the fibers of your muscles, just as working out or lifting weights does. Your body works to repair these fibers, creating stronger, more defined muscles.

EMSCULPT works through the surface of your skin to remodel your muscles and tissues, making your muscles even more pronounced. The result? A more sculpted body — without surgery or endless workouts.

What is treatment with EMSCULPT like?

At Yakov Levy MD PC, we work to ensure you have a comfortable EMSCUPLT experience. Our team answers any questions you have and ensures you’re relaxed throughout your 30-minute treatment session.

To begin, your provider places the EMSCULPT device on the targeted treatment area, most commonly the buttocks, abdomen, or thighs. You don’t experience any pain during treatment as the electromagnetic energy induces strong muscle contractions.

Each treatment session lasts about a half-hour, but depending on your goals and the treatment area, you may need more than one session to achieve optimal results. We work with you to create a customized treatment plan.

What results can I expect with EMSCULPT?

With EMSCULPT, you experience an increase in muscle tone, and you start to feel the results right after treatment and continue to notice improvement for several weeks afterward. Here are some of the results you can expect with this cutting-edge technology:

Your firmer, larger muscles remain for up to six months without a touch-up treatment, or longer if you incorporate physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. And you can always schedule maintenance treatments every six months or so to keep your firmer, tighter curves in place.

Am I a candidate for body contouring with EMSCULPT?

It’s important to remember that EMSCULPT isn’t a weight-loss treatment but rather a way to improve your curves by building muscle tone. We evaluate your medical history and lifestyle to ensure you’re a good candidate for body contouring with EMSCULPT.

Patients who are good candidates for EMSCULPT are:
