Yakov Levy, MD, is a highly qualified OB/GYN and cosmetic specialist who has a true love for medicine and strives for excellence in patient care. His elite private practice in New York City, Yakov Levy MD PC, with offices in Midtown East Manhattan and Forest Hills, Queens, offers the most cutting edge technologies on-site for diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting women's health in all stages of their life.
With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Levy utilizes patient-centered, evidence-based medicine with an integrative approach to health care, focusing on the whole patient. He has delivered more than 2,500 babies, performed over 500 cesarean sections, and conducted hundreds of gynecological and pelvic cosmetic surgeries. Enormous surgical and medical experience in outpatient offices and hospitals allows Dr. Levy to deliver the highest level of comprehensive care for obstetric, gynecologic, and cosmetic needs to his ever-growing number of patients.
After earning his Doctor of Medicine at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, Dr. Levy went on to complete his obstetrics and gynecology residency training at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He graduated in 2002 as chief resident in OB/GYN with comprehensive experience in laparoscopic, vaginal, pelvic reconstructive, benign gynecology, and oncology surgery.
Dr. Levy joined the faculty of New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in 2002 and continues to be directly involved in the teaching and training of new generation OB/GYN resident doctors. He remains affiliated with Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, as well as New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital in Flushing.
Dedicated to providing excellent women’s health care for the diverse community he serves, Dr. Levy is fluent in Russian, Georgian, and Spanish.
